Harley-Davidson® motorcycle loyalists live by the mantra “enjoy the ride.” And now they can enjoy the grill too. For the first time, Weber-Stephen Products LLC, the company that ignited the backyard grilling revolution more than 60 years ago, is releasing a special edition of their popular Weber® Q® 1200™ gas grills featuring the iconic Harley-Davidson logo.
As Harley-Davidson’s Official Grill Partner for 2016, and an official sponsor of this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Weber will be showcasing their new portable Weber® Q® 1200™ gas grill, Harley-Davidson® edition at the annual event which attracts thousands of Harley ® motorcycle riders each year.
To celebrate the new grill release, Weber is inviting attendees to visit the Weber Mobile Grill Academy, in town for the Sturgis rally (August 8-14). The Weber Mobile Grill Academy is a 53-foot expandable truck that travels the nation each year offering consumers a first-hand look at Weber’s grills and accessories. The truck will be staffed with Weber Grill Specialists available to answer questions. In addition, Weber will conduct three hands-on grilling classes focused on portable grilling tips using the new Harley-Davidson® edition grills. The free grilling classes take place each day at Sturgis. (Space is limited to 20 spots; onsite registration required.)
The new Weber® Q® 1200™ gas grill, Harley-Davidson® edition, retails for $299 at www.weber.com/harley and is also available at select Harley-Davidson® retail locations. The portable, yet powerful grill features 189 square inches of cooking space, porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grates for perfect sear marks, push button ignition, a built-in lid thermometer, and two handy folding work tables.
The grill is easy to transport and set up with a Weber® Q® portable cart (MSRP: $79.99, sold separately). The innovative cart features a simple mechanism that allows you to quickly set up the stand and position the grill in place. When not in use or when transporting the grill, the cart and attached grill folds down and effortlessly wheels like a suitcase.
