Grilled Honey Garlic Shrimp Recipe


  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 pound raw shrimp peeled & deveined


  1. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients for the marinade together. Toss in shrimp and stir to coat completely. Transfer entire contents of bowl into a plastic food storage bag. Seal the bag and refrigerate at least 1 hour. {I marinated mine 3 hours.}
  2. While the shrimp marinate, soak 3-4 wooden skewers in some water.
  3. When you are ready to grill, preheat BBQ to medium high heat. Skewer the shrimp and grill 3-4 minutes per side or until they turn pink and opaque. Serve warm.
